CALENDAR OF EVENTS

31 May 2019 Dealing with Difficult People 5:00-8:00PM It takes all kinds of people, amirite? What's the best way to interact the more difficult ones we may come across? In this workshop we are going to explore ways to de-escalate conflicts. We will start off with grounding and breathing exercises as well basic self-defense techniques so we operate from a place of calm and confidence when dealing with difficult people. We will then practice listening, reflecting what we hear, and looking for ways to give options to our aggressive brethren and not just say "no." We will go over boundary setting and ways of using body language, tone, and words to keep those around us safe and sound. FREE, but we'll serve you food for $10. Childcare provided. SPACE IS LIMITED, so please RSVP at info@sugarloafcenter.org. Please let us know if you'd like us to make you food (include dietary restrictions) and if you'll need childcare. [FACEBOOK EVENT]

Despite the state's best efforts to shut us down, we keep printing! Come one come all and learn a bit about what this multi generational print magazine does, how you can plug in and how we can better collaborate on whatever anarchist/antiracist/biocentric projects you got going on!
